The Board of Trustees is the governing body of the school.  It is comprised of the following members:       

                         Four elected members

                         One selected staff representative

                         Principal  

                         Any co-opted members in addition

 

The Board normally holds eight meetings per year.  The Board has control over the school finances, are the formal employers of the school staff, although the Principal remains the professional leader (or Manager) of the school.  The Board decides, in consultation with staff, Principal and community, which direction the school will take and how Government requirements will be met.  The Trustees also manage and maintain school property.
