Lichfield School is situated within the beautiful rural village of Lichfield and surrounded by verdant farmland. It is approximately 8km south of Putaruru and 15km north of Tokoroa, on State Highway 1.

We are in a district known as the South Waikato, near the Central North Island of NZ. Residents enjoy the centrality of the position, being less than an hours drive from major shopping and tourist spots, such as Rotorua, Taupo, Hamilton, and Tauranga.

To provide opportunities for all learners to identify and develop personal strengths and talents… so that they can be successful members of our society.

Every minute of every day we are learning, no matter if we are one day old or 90 years old.

Game's start at 4.30pm - 6.15pm at Glenshea Park. We have been lucky enough to make up our own Lichfield Team this year!

Hi Schools,

Thanks for participating in this year's South Waikato Schools Cricket. I hope your kids are ready and keen to have some fun this afternoon.

We have 4 games this afternoon.
Amisfield vs BEGS 1 at David Foote Park (west artificial) - Game Facilitator: Grant Hall
Cargill vs BEGS 2 at David Foote Park (east artificial) - Game Facilitator: Corbon Loughnan
Lichfield vs Te Waotu and Glenshea Park (in front of carpark) - Game Facilitator: Emily Loughnan
St Mary's vs Combined yr7/8 (in front of grandstand) - Game Facilitator: James Loughnan
Please Assemble at the SWCA flags between the grounds.
Shinta Loughnan will also be at Glenshea park helping to get set up and started.

At Glenshea we have three schools each with a squad slightly larger than 1 team's worth. We'll need to mix some players into a 4th team, maybe 6 per team instead of 8, depending on numbers.

BEGS, please mix your year 7/8s between two teams - the other schools don't have any older kids.
