The Putāruru Kāhui Ako (Community of Learning) is made up of Putāruru College, Putāruru Primary School, Te Waotu School, Lichfield School, Central Kids Charles Crescent and Central Kids Glenshea.
The Putāruru Kāhui Ako provides an opportunity for the community to work together to share our best educational practices designed to raise student engagement and achievement. We are engaged in a number of initiatives within the Putāruru Education Community, including greater collaboration between the kura within the Kāhui Ako, professional development opportunities for teachers that are designed to strengthen and extend teacher expertise and knowledge, and a more effective education pathway for the tamariki of the Putāruru area.
